What I'm learning

  • Physical Development:

I am manipulating objects and using my muscles in new ways by sitting on the tractor.

  • Literacy and Language:

I am learning about animals and the sounds they make.

  • Social Learning:

I am learning how to interact and play with my family.

  • Reasoning and Problem Solving:

I am learning how to accomplish new tasks when I feed and milk the cow.

Play & Learn Together:

  • Physical Development:

Help your child sit on the tractor and move the steering wheel.  Brush the horse’s tail, then encourage your child to try to milk the cow.

  • Literacy and Language:

Name the different animals out loud to your child. Talk about the different jobs that a farmer does and plan a day out loud. Model using language when you interact with animals and farm jobs.

  • Social Learning:

Talk about what your child can do around the farm. Encourage your child to interact with you and others.

  • Reasoning and Problem Solving:

Help your child feed the cow and horse. Allow your child to try to milk a cow and explain to them how to do it by using their hands in yours.
