The fourth year of the annual Artist Apprenticeship Program for aspiring young artists, ages 8-12, is off to a great start. In this unique program, small groups of students are working closely with local professional artists who serve as their mentors during the four week series.
Students are receiving in-depth instruction from their mentor artist, while both mentor and mentee spend time creating works to display. It was our goal that youth participants experience the entire process, from concept to critiquing, refining, and showcasing their work.
YOU’RE INVITED!

This program will culminate with a gallery showing and reception during the downtown First Friday FREE event. Invited guests and community members will have the opportunity to see works from both students and their artist mentors.
