The fourth year of the annual Artist Apprenticeship Program for aspiring young artists, ages 8-12, has been a great success. In this unique program, small groups of students been work closely with local professional artists who serve as their mentors during the four-week series.

Students receive in-depth instruction from their mentor artist, while both mentor and mentee spend time creating works to display. It is our goal that youth participants experience the entire process, from concept to critiquing, refining, and showcasing their work.

This opportunity is made possible thanks to the generosity of our lead sponsor, Kathy Moran Wealth Group | Raymond James, and supporting sponsors Brown Edwards, Love at First Spice, and Kathy Armentrout & Ken Surber, Edward Jones. Special thanks to Harrisonburg Kiwanis Club for providing First Friday Free admission.
