Maker City Intern - A Makerspace for YOUTH 8+
Designed for college students, the Maker City Internship at Explore More Discovery Museum offers hands-on experience working directly with children in a dynamic makerspace serving youth ages 8+. Interns mentor and support young makers as they explore art, design, and STEM through hands-on projects and open lab experiences. This paid internship is ideal for students who enjoy teaching, guiding creativity, and making meaningful connections with children in an educational setting.
Nonprofit Studies Intern
The Explore More Discovery Museum is offering an exciting internship opportunity for students majoring or minoring in Nonprofit Studies. This paid internship provides a unique hands-on experience in various aspects of nonprofit management, including guest services, program assistance, special events, development, and administration. This internship is a great opportunity for students looking to gain practical experience while contributing to a vibrant community resource. Summer teen intern program - 2026 Applications Open Late February
Explore More is looking for energetic volunteers to join our Summer Teen Intern Program! As a member of our team, volunteers will gain valuable leadership skills as they become assistants for our summer camp programming in classes that range from baking desserts to building with LEGOs to creating sculptures.
Requirements:
Must be at least 13 years old
Can commit to helping with one full week of summer camp (5 consecutive days, ~18 hours) PLUS 10 hours of camp or floor volunteering
Friendly attitude
Enjoy working with kids
