Explore More is seeking a part-time educator to assist with field trips and museum enrichment programs. The ideal candidate will have classroom teaching experience and will easily adapt to the learning needs of students Prek – 5. Working with the Program Manager, the Museum Educator will present SOL-based field trips to approximately 7500 school students annually.  In addition, the Museum Educator will assist in expanding programs to support exhibits, especially in the area of STEAM Education. As a key representative of Explore More, the Museum Educator will also work as a team member to provide excellent customer service, ensure a safe and healthy environment, and help evaluate and improve guest experiences.

Graphic Design Intern

The Graphic Design Intern will assist the museum staff in updating, designing and producing print materials, signage and web graphics while maintaining brand consistency. The intern will participate as an active member of the museum Marketing Committee. This unique public setting offers unlimited creative possibilities for the student or young professional seeking to a build a stellar design portfolio.


Development Intern

Development Interns have a passion for non-profit organizations, education, children, community development, and business & administration. Students will gain hands-on experience with a small non-profit, build a strong resume, and engage with local businesses and community members. Interns become active team members with our small staff and make a meaningful impact on the children and community.

Maker City Interns will have an opportunity to work in the museum makerspace designed for youth ages 8+. Applicants should have prior experience in one or more of the following skill areas: laser cutting, vinyl cutting, graphic design, sewing and fabric arts, fine arts, woodworking, web design, videography and photo editing. Applicants should also enjoy working with children in the target age group and work well in a collaborative environment.
