Winter PROGRAMS

Holiday Baking Around the World (Ages 6-11)
Thursdays, December 4, 11, 18 | 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Pack your aprons and get ready for a sweet adventure! In this three-part series, kids will travel from Germany to Mexico to Sweden—without leaving the kitchen! They’ll whisk, roll, and sprinkle their way through spiced gingerbread cakes, buttery Polvorones, and golden saffron buns. Along the way, they’ll discover fun holiday traditions from each country, taste their own creations, and take home treats to share. It’s a world of flavor, fun, and festive cheer!

December 4: Sweet Starts of the Season
Kids will bake spiced gingerbread cakes with cinnamon, ginger, and cloves, then decorate their creations. Along the way, they’ll learn how gingerbread became a cozy winter favorite and take home their own festive treat.

December 11: Holiday Flavors from Mexico
Celebrate Mexican holiday flavors with Polvorones, buttery powdered-sugar cookies. Kids will mix, shape, and roll the dough, then enjoy their treats with Mexican-style hot chocolate while learning about festive December traditions.

December 18: Winter Wonders from Sweden
Bring a Scandinavian sparkle to the kitchen! Kids will shape and bake golden saffron buns (Lussekatter) while learning about the Festival of Lights.
