Open Make - Blue Zone Feature (3D Printing)

Calling all makers 8+...
Here is your chance to explore and create in Maker City. We have the place, materials, and bring your ideas!

If youth makers have not previously visited the space, they will be provided with a quick Intro to the Maker City session. Please review the code of conduct.

The Maker City supervisors will ensure that participants have been properly trained before allowing access to some of the available equipment. The BLUE ZONE features more advanced equipment (3D printers, sewing machines, vinyl and laser cutters). Participants must have a proficiency badge to use independently. See schedule for featured training sessions to help makers gain proficiency.
TODAY we are offering 3D Printing instruction. Check in with the Maker City staff if interested in this “drop-in” training opportunity.

A parent waiver is required for student participation. You can download and bring along to your first visit. We will also have these available at the 2nd floor staff desk.  Please be sure to always check in with the 2nd floor staff member before entering Maker City. Space is limited and available on a first-come first-served basis. Makers can stay in Maker City without parent supervision once signed in but should be available to sign out their child when they are ready to leave. Makers may not leave Maker City without their caregiver.
