• Economics of the Farmer's Market: This literature-based lesson will help children understand the concepts of goods, services, needs, wants and the importance of saving.   • Under the Sea: This trip is packed with fun and exploration! Students will discover how solids and liquids interact with water by building a mini ocean in a bottle and by performing hands-on experiments with a variety of solids and liquids. Students will also be introduced to the causes and consequences of pollution in our oceans. SOLs: Science 1.3, 1.8
