Join us for the Great Community Give! This exciting one-day, online giving event was started by The Community Foundation to inspire philanthropy in our community through charitable donations, and we are thrilled to be one of over 100 charities participating that day.

At Explore More, we’re on a mission to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and inspire a lifelong love of learning through play. We are the Museum that PLAY Built, and YOU are the foundation that makes it all possible! With your support during the Great Community Give, we can continue our collective work and ensure that every child has access to the Museum’s play-based exhibits and programs.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE YOUR GIFT?

Just POINT, CLICK and GIVE to the Explore More profile page on the Great Community Give website on APRIL 17 until 8 PM. Your gift might even help us unlock additional prizes from The Community Foundation, increasing your impact even more!

NEW THIS YEAR: MOBILE PAY NOW AVAILABLE!
Enjoy a more modern and streamlined giving experience this year! GiveGab has successfully made mobile pay available across all of their Giving Day sites. If you use your mobile phone to make your donation, a mobile pay option will pop up under the “Enter Your Payment Information” (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Microsoft Pay will appear, depending on your type of phone).

If you don’t want to make a gift online, you can also give through cash or check! Just bring your donation DIRECTLY TO EXPLORE MORE before 8 PM on April 17 and it will count toward our totals for the day.

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT!

Every donation of $20 or more given to Explore More during Great Community Give will be matched DOLLAR for DOLLAR! Thanks to the generosity of a special anonymous donor and our good friends at Harrisonburg Kiwanis Club, your investment on April 17th will be DOUBLED, laying an even stronger foundation for our kids! [Gifts will be matched up to $40,000].

GIVE DURING POWER HOUR — 7 PM ON APRIL 17!

There are a number of power hours throughout the day to help win extra prize money from The Community Foundation. Explore More has selected the LAST hour of the day on April 17, from 7 – 8 p.m.! If you want to make your gift the most powerful, be sure to time your gift during that hour to maximize prize money.

We understand that not everyone can be with us on the 17th. No worries! You can utilize the “early giving” timeframe, making your gift any time between April 3 and April 16, and you'll be counted among our donors on the big day! GIVE EARLY TODAY!
