The Explore More Discovery Museum seeks energetic, creative, team-oriented individual to serve as part-time guest services staff responsible for supervising daily museum operations, leading special programs and working with community volunteers. Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. We will work with students to accommodate educational schedules. Preference will be given to those who plan to be in the area for a minimum of one year.

Interns have a passion for non-profit organizations, education, children, community development, and business & administration. Students will gain hands-on experience with a small non-profit, build a strong resume, and engage with local businesses and community members. Interns become active team members with our small staff and make a meaningful impact on the children and community.
Graphic Design Intern

The Graphic Design Intern will assist the museum staff in updating, designing and producing print materials, signage and web graphics while maintaining brand consistency. The intern will participate as an active member of the museum Marketing Committee. This unique public setting offers unlimited creative possibilities for the student or young professional seeking to build a stellar design portfolio.

The Program Intern will assist Museum Education staff with programming designed to engage children and family audiences. Students will gain practical experience teaching in the museum setting while also learning operating procedures and best practices required to run a successful children’s museum.
