Time To Give?

Volunteers are the backbone of the museum.  We'd love your help in the following areas:!

Interacting with Children: Show the children how to properly and safely use the exhibits.  Suggest areas or activities the children might enjoy trying.

Supervising and Maintaining Exhibits: This means you will walk around from exhibit to exhibit, restocking supplies and making sure the museum is clean and safe.

Preparing Materials and Supplies for Special Events: You might be asked to cut things out, assemble packets, blow up balloons or any number of other fun jobs to help us prepare for special events like birthday parties, field trips, workshops, etc.

Serving on a Committee:  If you enjoy planning fundrasing events and programs or have experise in the areas of marketing, non-profit governance or construction/exhibit design, consider joining one of our committees.

Skills To Share?

If you can't come in person to help out, perhaps you have skills to share instead.  We are always in need of "behind the scenes" volunteers to construct or repair exhibits, mend costumes, and any number of equally essential jobs in the life of the museum.
